Eastland Memorial Hospital

Welcome

We have been a trusted part of the Eastland community since 1952 (history). At Eastland Memorial Hospital, we are committed to quality care, patient safety and community wellness.

Eastland Memorial Hospital is a hospital district located in Eastland , Texas, county seat of Eastland County (map). We are the only hospital in the county servicing a population of more than 18,000. Located approximately 60 miles east of Abilene, Texas, and 100 miles west of the Dallas Fort Worth area we offer quality healthcare without the inconvenience of a metropolitan area. We provide a wide variety of services and continue to grow and supplement those services to meet the healthcare needs of our region. Our priority is to exceed the expectations of the people we serve.

Located at 304 South Daugherty Street, the hospital and surrounding physician clinics offer convenient primary care for patients of all ages. We are governed by an elected board of directors, licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS) and Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), a member of the Texas Hospital Association(THA) and Texas Organization of Rural and Community Hospitals(TORCH) and a number of our staff are members of their respective professional organizations.

ELECTRONIC HEALTH RECORDS

Eastland Memorial Hospital has implemented electronic health records throughout the hospital system. Electronic health records are patient health records in a digital format. Using electronic health records allows Eastland Memorial Hospital to provide better patient care by knowing the patients' histories at the point of contact. With having patients' histories readily accessible, treatment and patient safety are improved.
